Concluding Post: Malvin Pranoto

For me, the best skill I learned in this class is understanding how the scientific method works. I learned how science progressed through falsification, and how deductive/inductive reasoning contributes to scientific theories being continually tested and verified. Because of this, I have developed a much stronger confidence in scientific theories, and how they accurately explain our universe.

The most interesting idea I learned in this class is definitely learning the history of the Universe. It amazes me how scientists could learn so much about the past, and about things we can’t physically see (e.g. the core of Stars).

Additionally, the most interesting thing I learned about the Universe is how old it is, compared to Earth. I realized that our lives are only extremely small snippets of the Universe’s existence.
