My Name is Nik Singh. I was born and raised in Rochester, Ny and I am a junior studying Economics here at UofM. I have taken multiple astronomy course in the past like Astrobiology and Introduction to Stars and the Galaxy. I am also currently taking a mini course called Aliens that seems interesting. I enjoy studying Astronomy because it gives me perspective in life. It shows me how large our observable universe is and how small we are in comparison. Some of my main interests in Astronomy are extrasolar planets and their discoveries, the formation and life cycles of Stars and black holes, and the creation of planetary systems. I hope to cover all of these topics in class and I also hope that we learn more about dark matter, dark energy, and antimatter.
Thanks,
Nik Singh
