Brendan Montgomery: Introductory Post
My name is Brendan Montgomery and I am a sophomore pursuing a degree in economics. I am from Naperville, Illinois and I have always felt a sense of awe when looking at the sky on a clear night. I have never taken an astronomy course, but I developed a strong interest in the subject when I saw the night sky with less light pollution for the first time last summer. As a result, I am most interested in the unit on stars and compact objects at the end of the semester, which will give me a better understanding of what I see on a nightly basis.
